It Started With One Hat.

Patch Harbor was founded in December 2025 with one simple idea:

Why buy a new hat every time you want a different look?

I've always loved wearing hats, but I constantly found myself getting bored of the same one. At the same time, buying multiple quality hats wasn't always practical it takes up space and gets expensive fast.

That's when the idea for interchangeable patches came to life.

Instead of owning five different hats, why not own one hat that can become five?

What started as a simple solution quickly became something much bigger.

Why Fishing?

I fell in love with fishing the summer before starting Patch Harbor. Even though I'm still learning every time I get out on the water, it quickly became my favorite offseason hobby when I'm not playing hockey.

Fishing turned out to be the perfect fit for the idea.

There are so many incredible species around the world, and we're constantly adding new ones as Patch Harbor continues to grow. Instead of buying a different hat for every style, anglers can simply swap patches depending on the species they're targeting that day.

Switching to pike? Swap it in seconds.

You can even bring your patches out on the boat or to the lake and change them before taking your catch photo, so your hat always matches the fish you caught.

When I launched Patch Harbor, I had no idea how many people would believe in the idea.

Seeing our first drop completely sell out was something I'll never forget.
